BIOGRAFIA.
Edgar Holland Winter (nascido em 28 de dezembro de 1946, em Beaumont (Texas)) é um músico americano que teve êxito significativo nos anos 1970 e 1980. Edgar é um multi-instrumentista, exercendo sobre os teclados, e como uma vocalista, saxofonista e percussionista, bem versado em jazz, blues e rock. Tal como acontece com o seu irmão, Johnny Winter, ele também é facilmente identificado pelo seu albinismo.
Na adolescecia Edgar e Johnny (que é dois anos mais velho que Edgar) começou a realizar em conjunto a nível local Pub, tais como Tom’s Fish Camp. Os dois desempenharam na Rhythm and blues e blues grupos; Johnny e os jammers, O Crystaliers, e The Black Plague. Até o momento ele era de idade colégio Edgar tinha se tornado competente em teclados, saxofone, Baixo , guitarra e bateria. Em 1969, com Johnny Winter apareceu para duas músicas ( “I Can’t Stand It” e “Tobacco Road”), para o festival Festival de Woodstock.
